Research Interests

Interests include studying NOx formation in the combustion of hydroxylated fuels, including alcohols and glycerol, in turbulent swirling and laminar flat flame configurations.  This involves focus in swirling flame dynamics, spray characterization, and detailed fuel chemistry simulations for the characterization of the various mechanisms to NOx formation.
